My delicious vegetarian dinner, they ran out of burgers and wedges...During the stroll from esplanade to the platform, there was a slight drizzle and many others stopped in their path to take the ponchos out of their bags! But the funny thing was that, after dressed in ponchos, the rain stopped immediately!! haha... We were quite lucky that we were allocated front seats, it's almost like the view at the last row in a cinema. Woohooo........ It does explains why all of my colleagues are snapping non-stop!!!
Rainbow after drizzleAs part of the prelude, we saw the adrenaline-rush parachuting, it's so overwhelming that they are able to land accurately after being thrown off in high sky.
Red Lions parachuting, can u even see it?The stage was very magnificent with an eye in the middle and many little windows by the 2 sides which resemble flats. I really like those little windows when the rollers are wound up and performers stood at each window performing! It's just picturesque!
this is it, i like this!
it's magical! The overall was quite nice, but I was drenched during the finale. I was busy putting on the poncho and didn't get to enjoy the fireworks. It was raining heavily and all the ppl around are either with umbrellas or poncho. It took a long while for the emcee to disperse the audience, which was why I stood under the thunderstorm for about half an hour. Also, the poncho was not enough to cover myself, I was soaked to the skin and my feet was like swimming inside my shoes! My jeans which was half wet made it more heavy and it was like dropping from my waist... haha... My fingers were also wrinkled from prolonged wetness! While the emcee was trying to direct attention, there was a strike of lightning, which set the performers running berserk on the stage. Luckily, the soldiers ushered us to the designated place and we were able to leave the area quickly. Despite the heavy rain, it's a memorable first time!
